Newcastle United co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi has joined fans in taking in the sights of Milan ahead of the club’s first Champions League match in 20 years.

Posting to Instagram, the co-owner shared a photograph of himself standing in front of the iconic Duomo di Milano with the caption ‘Hello Milan,’ alongside the hallelujah emoji.

That’s not the only message Ghodoussi sent fans, however. In what is now true Newcastle style, the businessman added some music to the post- and of course it was Sam Fender’s ‘Getting Started.’

Complete with the confident and optimistic lyrics ‘I’m only getting started,’ Ghodoussi seems extremely hopeful about Newcastle’s Champions League run and perhaps long-term stint in the competition.

The match will kick-off tonight at 17:45 UK time- or 18:45 if you’re lucky enough to be in Milan.
