Newcastle United recorded their first home win in 2024 with 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers following goals from Alexander Isak, Anthony Gordon and substitute Tino Livramento.
Isak and Gordon struck in the first-half before Livramento added a third in injury time as United moved up to eighth in the Premier League tablel.
Magpies' boss Eddie Howe made one change from the FA Cup fifth round penalty shootout win over Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday with Sven Botman recalled in place of Jamaal Lascelles following his midweek rest.
Also looking to bounce back from last weekend's 4-1 defeat at Arsenal, Newcastle got their noses in front in the 14th minute when a counter-attacking move saw Alexander Isak head home.
The hosts doubled their advantage around the half-hour mark when Anthony Gordon reacted quickest to Jacob Murphy's low cross that was spilled by Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa.
Wolves duo Sa and Pedro Neto were replaced at the break and Newcastle were forced into a substitution of their own when Kieran Trippier went down injured in the 52th minute. Tino Livramento replaced the England right-back.
And Livramento scored his first Newcastle goal in stoppage when he surged into the box before scooping the ball past the Wolves 'keeper.
The result marked United's first win on home turf since the 3-0 win over Fulham on December 16.
