There have been jokes about Ryan Fraser, who has been banished from the Magpies’ first team due to his relationship with Howe, making the move over to Saudi Arabia however it could be a real possibility for some of the players.

Miguel Almiron has recently followed Saudi Pro League winners Al-Ittihad on Instagram, a fact that hasn’t gone under the radar. A fan page for the Middle Eastern team gloated about the follow on Twitter, baiting some fans into thinking it could mean the winger is interested in a move.

Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema recently confirmed his move to the club for a massive £400m and there are rumours that Chelsea star N’Golo Kante may be about to join him.

PIF are also providing the funds for each of their four Saudi teams to carry out four major international transfers for next season, so despite Messi opting to go elsewhere fans can expect there to be more big names taking the leap.

Almiron did recently sign a three year contract extension however with more competition and less game time some fans are beginning to suspect the Paraguayan could jump ship. Or could a loan be on the cards?

Either way, Saudi fans are very on board with the idea.
