Premier League club ‘open’ to offers for Newcastle United target as midfielder is linked.

Newcastle United sit 3rd in the Premier League during the World Cup break. They beat Chelsea 1-0 in their last game with Joe Willock scoring the winner.

The Toon Army will be itching to return to league action next month. In the meantime, here is a look at some of the latest news regarding the club...

World Cup ace linked

Newcastle are being linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot as per Gazzetta dello Sport report, (via Il Bianconero). The 27-year-old is currently in Qatar with the France squad and has played in their first two games. Fellow top flight clubs Liverpool and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest.

Target latest

Leeds United are ‘open’ to offers for right wing-back Cody Drameh, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post. The Magpies have been mentioned as a potential suitor over recent times ahead of the January transfer window. He had a spell away on loan in the Championship last season at Cardiff City to get some experience under his belt but has struggled for game time since his return to Elland Road over the summer.

Pulisic update

Newcastle reportedly made an ‘enquiry’ about the availability of Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic in August, as detailed in a report by the Daily Mail. The winger ended up staying at Stamford Bridge beyond the transfer deadline but his long-term future with the London outfit continues to hang in the balance. Pulisic has made 18 appearances for Chelsea so far this season but the majority of them have come from the bench. He is currently away with the USA squad at the World Cup.
