Premier League comeback kings - where do Newcastle United, West Ham, Leeds & Everton rank?

Eddie Howe’s men have shown spirit in abundance to race their way up the Premier League table - and here is one key stat to prove that point!

Newcastle United have made a habit of coming from behind to claim valuable points to eradicate any fears over relegation from the Premier League.

The dramatic recent home win showed exactly why the Magpies are now eyeing a place in the top half of the table, rather than worrying about finishing in the bottom three.

The two sides looked set to battle their way to a hard-earned point as the clock ticked further and further into second-half injury-time.

But Magpies trio Matt Targett, Joe Willock and Bruno Guimaraes had other ideas as they all played integral roles in securing a more lucrative reward for their side.

On-loan defender Targett was calmness personified as he broke down a Foxes attack, turned away from his marker and released an inch-perfect pass to substitute Willock.

The former Arsenal man took a fine first-touch to take him beyond the helpless Youri Tielemans and towards the left-hand side of the visitors area.

With all four corners of St James Park roaring him on, Willock took a final touch before sending a deflected cross into the middle of the area and that was gleefully headed home by the onrushing Bruno Guimaraes.

St James Park exploded with a cocophony of disbelief and celebration as Eddie Howe’s men secured the win that all-but secure their Premier League status by coming from behind to claim crucial points once again.

It has been a feature of the Magpies revival under the former Bournemouth boss as they have battled back to earn points from losing positions.

But where do Newcastle rank amongst their Premier League rivals when it comes to winning points after falling behind in league fixtures?
