Newcastle United thrashed Tottenham Hotspur 6-1 on Sunday afternoon to significantly boost their Champions League hopes. The Toon Army were 5-0 up after just 21 minutes at St. James’ Park.

They are now back in 3rd position in the Premier League table above Manchester United with seven games left of the season to play. Eddie Howe’s side have also risen six points ahead of 5th place Spurs with a game in hand on them still.
