Newcastle United director Majed Al-Sorour has paid tribute to Eddie Howe for ‘raising the bar’ having watched the Magpies first-hand on home soil.

The CEO of the Saudi Golf Federation and Golf Saudi was in attendance at the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium on Thursday evening to witness the Magpies’ 5-0 victory over Saudi Pro League giants and current AFC Champions League champions Al-Hilal. On the night Joelinton and Miguel Almiron netted twice with youngster Dylan Stephenson also getting in on the act from the bench.
