Revealed! The points total Newcastle United, Leeds, Everton & rivals will likely require to seal Premier League safety
Newcastle United have nine games to seal their Premier League status when they return to action after the international break.
Eddie Howe’s side jetted off to Dubai late last week for their second warm-weather training camp of the year.
The trip was rounded off with a 5-0 victory over local side Gulf United on Friday, managed by former defender Steven Taylor.
And now they’ve touched back down on Tyneside, the Magpies will continue their preparations for Tottenham Hotspur next Sunday.
Despite back-to-back defeats at Chelsea and Everton, Howe’s men have taken a huge stride towards survival in recent months.
A nine games unbeaten run between December and March has lifted the club nine points above the drop zone.
