Sandro Tonali's girlfriend provides Tyneside update after Newcastle United's midfielder ban

Sandro Tonali has been pictured cosying up his adorable dog as he braces for his first Tyneside winter.

The Newcastle United midfielder is currently one month into his 10-month ban from the sport after the Italian federation found he had broken the rule which prohibits footballers betting on matches.

And it's expected the 23-year-old will spend most, if not all, of the festive period in the UK as he's still permitted to train with the Magpies throughout.

After a difficult year it seems Tonali is settling into life in the North East. His long-term girlfriend Juliette Pastore has regularly been posting updates about the couple's lifestyle.

Last night Juliette posted an adorable photo of Tonali and their shared French Bulldog all cuddled up in front of the TV and fire.

Juliette has been extremely supportive of the midfielder during this turbulent period.

In August, the fashion designer opened up about how hard the move from Milan was for the couple.

“It’s been a difficult few months," she told her Instagram followers. "From one moment to another you find yourself turning your life upside down and moving to another country far from everything. Not to mention the transfer issue, bureaucratic issues etc.

“There were a few people who didn’t help and didn’t made this change easy, but grinding our teeth we kept going.”

Then last month, after Tonali's footballing ban was announced, she shared a photo of the pair's hands interlocked alongside the message: "always and forever by your side."
