Newcastle United players will be greeted with an extravagant display from Magpies fans at Wembley Stadium later this month thanks to 'significant funding' from the club.
Supporter-led group Wor Flags are known for their fantastic work in making St James' Park a fortress with moving flag and banner displays in the crowd before each match.

However, there was some hesitancy about how easy it would be for Wor Flags and fans to take such a display into a neutral ground such as Wembley Stadium.
On Monday afternoon Wor Flags issued a statement on Twitter confirming that the usual display would be happening in London too and reasoned why this was only thanks to investment from the club itself.
A statement posted online read: "We can confirm there will be a display at Wembley Stadium in the Newcastle end at the League Cup final. The display will involve every single Newcastle supporter in attendance.

"When the lads walk out at Wembley they deserve to be met with a fantastic sight they often get at St. James' Park, and we are thrilled that Newcastle United are helping to make this a reality.

"We will be providing our own flags and banners to add to the display which should make it an unbelievable sight. If you are able to donate towards a Wembley display, please do.
"Our sincere thanks goes to Newcastle United for their support with this. It highlights perfectly the developing relationship between fans and the club."

Meanwhile, other Magpies fans said "United as one", "class" and "roll on next weekend".
