

Surprise Newcastle United team news as Eddie Howe names three changes versus Liverpool
Eddie Howe has named his Newcastle United starting XI to face Liverpool at St James’ Park.

Magpies head coach Eddie Howe has named three changes from the 3-0 victory over Norwich City last weekend for the visit of Liverpool.
Fabian Schar, fresh from penning a new two-year contract with United, returns to partner Dan Burn at the back in place of captain Jamaal Lascelles.
Jonjo Shelvey comes in for Sean Longstaff to face his former club, while Miguel Almiron, the match-winner on Tyneside last time out against Crystal Palace, replaces Jacob Murphy.
Joelinton looks set to start as the central striker again, though Allan Saint-Maximin could also be deployed there, with the pair switching after half an hour at Carrow Road last Saturday.
