Sven Botman has bid farewell to Lille fans ahead of his confirmed move to Newcastle United.
The 22-year-old arrived on Tyneside on Monday lunchtime to undergo his medical and finalise his switch to the Magpies.

Botman was spotted at the club’s training ground just before 1pm. The defender then had his medical before arriving at St James’ Park around 6:10pm.
The Netherlands under-21 international has put pen to paper on a reported five-year deal - with his unveiling now in the hands of Newcastle’s media team.

And ahead of the club’s announcement, the former Ajax youngster has already said goodbye to Lille.
He said via his Instagram page: “Really grateful that I’ve worn the LOSC badge for two years.

“It has been an incredible journey with two big trophies and memories I will never forget.
“Thank you LOSC for all.”
Newcastle have beaten AC Milan to Botman’s signature after outbidding the Italian champions.
