Sven Botman, Nick Pope & Miguel Almiron: Newcastle United return dates ahead of Man United clash

Newcastle United injuries and expected return dates ahead of next Sunday’s Premier League clash against Manchester United.

Newcastle United have a couple of fresh selection concerns ahead of next weekend’s Premier League showdown against Manchester United at St James’ Park.

Prior to the 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest last week, it was confirmed Miguel Almiron had sustained a thigh injury, and Eddie Howe revealed after the game he’s likely to miss the next six games.

In the same press conference, Howe admitted Fabian Schar had been nursing a foot injury, and that Allan Saint-Maximin had felt some tightness in his hamstring. Callum Wilson, meanwhile, wasn’t risked at the City Ground after illness and a slight injury.

Despite playing a full 90 minutes at Forest, Nick Pope was forced to withdraw from the England squad, and Sven Botman has also left the Netherlands camp due to a “virus infection”.

NewcastleWorld takes a look at the Magpies’ injury list - and when each player is expected to return:
