Newcastle United play their third Premier League game in just seven days - with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur presenting a new challenge for Eddie Howe’s side.
A point away at Manchester United and a victory over Everton in midweek extended the Magpies’ unbeaten run to six games and maintain their position in the top six.
Matching the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Man United in the opening 11 games will give Howe’s side confidence against a Spurs team who have won five out of five at home this campaign.
Howe, as hinted during Friday’s press conference, could name changes to United XI having remained unchanged previously.
“Possibly, yeah,” said the 44-year-old. “My team isn’t chosen in my head yet. I want to let the Everton game come out of our system and see how people feel and have discussions and look at the game from a tactical viewpoint and see how we can attack the Tottenham game.
“It’s good to have a good squad to pick from. We’ll try and pick the right ones.”
