Ten free transfer options Newcastle United could consider during the summer transfer window
There are some intriguing options available for the Magpies ahead of the summer.
Newcastle United have reportedly identified a number of positions within their squad they wish to strengthen during the summer transfer window.
A left-back, right-sided centre-back, a centre midfielder, a winger and at least one forward player are believed to be on the wish list for United’s hierachy. The Magpies are expected to be active once again as they look to build on the unquestionable momentum they have built up over the last 12 months under Eddie Howe.
United have enjoyed a number of successes in the transfer market with the likes of Kieran Trippier, Bruno Guimaraes and Sven Botman all making a major impact since making eye-catching moves to St James Park and despite being linked with several big money moves, there are some more prudent options available as several big-name players around Europe approach the final months of their current contracts.
NewcastleWorld identifies ten options the Magpies could consider if they choose to explore the free transfer market.
