Newcastle United will once again be under the restrictions of Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR) during this summer’s transfer window.
By this point, you can forgive anyone who is fed up of hearing about PSR or FFP (Financial Fair Play). Pressures to comply with the rules forced the Magpies to not spend a single penny in January. And while it’s currently unclear as to how United will be impacted this summer, you get the feeling outgoings are key.
That doesn’t mean sell Bruno Guimaraes or Alexander Isak by the way... more so that Newcastle have several players on sizable wages, despite not currently being at the club, i.e the likes of Ryan Fraser, Jamal Lewis, Jeff Hendrick and Isaac Hayden.
But of course - as is the case with any season - Newcastle boss Eddie Howe will assess his current squad fully in the coming weeks and establish plans ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
With some players out-of-contract and others either out-of-favour or the subject of transfer speculation, NewcastleWorld takes a look at the players that will leave Newcastle (as it stands) and those that could:

13. Alexander Isak - could leave
A similar situation to Bruno, though without the release clause. A player Newcastle want to build a team around, but the Swede isn’t short of admirers. Admittedly, he'd cost A LOT of money. | AFP via Getty Images

14. Jamal Lewis - set to leave

15. Isaac Hayden - set to leave
Hayden, currently on at QPR, is under contract at St James' Park until 2026 but Newcastle are keen to part ways permanently. | Getty Images
