On his 17th birthday, the now 19-year-old penned his first professional contract before his performances at under-18s and under-23s caught the first-team’s attention.
Earlier this year, Anderson made his FA Cup and Premier League debut for Newcastle - both at Arsenal - and has remained in touch with the senior picture ever since.

Appearing in Eddie Howe’s matchday squad as a substitute for the visit of Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday, Anderson enjoyed a quick sing-song.
As he took his place back on the bench for the second-half, Anderson was spotted by NewcastleWorld singing along to Blaydon Races as it blasted over the PA system at St James’ Park.
