The FIVE Newcastle United players set to miss most- if not all - of Dubai trip
Newcastle United’s players will head a warm weather training camp as they take a break from their bid to remain in the Premier League - but not all of Eddie Howe’s squad will make the trip to Dubai.
The Magpies manager confirmed he will take the majority of his squad to the Persian Gulf coast in the aftermath of Thursday night’s defeat at Everton.
“We go tomorrow (Friday),” Howe said, speaking after the 1-0 defeat to the 10-man Toffees.
“We will train, no game planned currently but that doesn’t mean we won’t.”
Injured duo Kieran Trippier and Callum Wilson will make the trip with the Magpies players expected to stay at the Nad Al Sheba Sports complex, which has been used in recent years by Premier League rivals Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea.
However, there are several members of Howe’s squad that will be in action during the next fortnight as after they received international call-ups.
Newcastle World takes a look at where some of those players will be heading over the next two weeks with a number of key World Cup qualifiers set to take place.

2. Miguel Almiron (Paraguay)
Almiron’s Paraguay can not qualify for this year’s World Cup - but they will move a step closer to rounding off their qualifiers with a home game against Ecuador on Thursday before travelling to Peru five days later.

3. Emil Krafth (Sweden)
Krafth has been something of a regular in the United side in recent weeks and he could earn a 39th cap for Sweden when they host the Czech Republic in Stockholm next Thursday. Photo: Dan Mullan

4. Martin Dubravka (Slovakia)
Dubravka’s Slovakia failed to qualify for the World Cup but the Magpies keeper could still see action as his side have friendlies in Norway next Friday before heading to Murcia in Spain to face Finland four days later.
