United completed a routine 3-0 win over Norwich City and Carrow Road to improve their recent run to 10 wins in their last 14 Premier League encounters.

The result also saw United peak at ninth in the top flight table - a remarkable turnaround given they were 19th with just 11 points to their name in January.

Heroes for United on the day were their Brazilian contingent Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton, who netted two goals playing in a more advanced striking role.

Firstly, on the result itself, interim managing director Ghodoussi, via his @ghodoussi Twitter account, said: “The future is bright…the future is Newcastle United!!!!”
