Newcastle United director Jamie Reuben has taken to social media to express his joy at the Magpies extending their unbeaten Premier League run to six games - and have a joke at the expense of co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi.

Eddie Howe’s United made it 12 points from their last half dozen top flight games with a 1-1 draw at West Ham United’s London Stadium.

A first strike of the season for Joe Willock cancelled out an opener in the capital by Hammers’ defender Craig Dawson.

The result, prior to fixtures elsewhere being played, sees United stretch five points clear of the bottom three.

And Reuben, who sat alongside Ghodoussi in the West Ham directors box on Saturday, made his feelings clear after the game.

From his @jamiereuben Twitter account, Reuben tweeted: “Brilliant performance @NUFC - only rubbish part of today was having to listen to @ghodoussi running commentary for 90 mins.”

Newcastle United are back in the London area again next weekend as they face Brentford on Saturday.
