Newcastle United are set to pocket a substantial amount of Premier League TV money from the 2021/22 campaign.
Eddie Howe’s men ended the season in 11th position to record their best top-flight points total in eight years (49).
The Magpies were deep in relegation trouble at the beginning of the year, however a total of 38 points in 2022 so far - bettered only by Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham - saw Howe’s side surge to safety.
United are understood to have earned £22million alone from finishing 11th - but that is without other prize money.
Here, courtesy of finance expert Kieran Maguire, NewcastleWorld takes a look at how much Newcastle are set to pocket from Premier League TV money - compared to their top-flight rivals.
Note: For the domestic broadcast deal, 50% of the sum is split evenly, 25% based on ‘facility’, i.e number of times the club is selected for live TV and 25% on final league position.
