Hide AdMaxi initially started an Instagram live to talk about the ‘personal development’ academy he’s setting up but there was a familiar face lurking in the comments to grab everyone’s attention.
‘My Guy,’ said Willock, which seemed to pass the footballer by. However after talking about the academy further, Willock caught his attention by cheekily writing: ‘Can I sign up to the academy?’
“Bro, you’re already so rich,” was Maxi’s hilarious response.
And the interaction didn’t end there. The 26-year-old continued to address his former teammate and lovingly said: “I miss you so much brother. I hope to you’re back soon and show them- they’ll see.”

Hide AdJoe Willock hasn’t featured for Newcastle since May when he picked up a hamstring injury in the penultimate home game against Brighton.
He was expected to return in pre-season but suffered a setback. Then, last month, during his recovery, the midfielder sustained a new Achilles injury. Eddie Howe hopes the former Arsenal man will be back after the international break.
After being sold to Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli in August, Saint-Maximin vowed to continue to be Newcastle’s biggest supporter during an emotional farewell message.
“4 years ago, I wore the Newcastle jersey for the first time. At that moment, I hadn’t realized that not only was I about to become a Newcastle player, but I was also about to become a Geordie,” the 26-year-old wrote.
