Newcastle United are hoping to welcome back some key players when they host West Ham United at St James' Park after the two-week international break.
After exiting the FA Cup at the quarter-final stage to Manchester City, Eddie Howe's squad will enjoy a period of rest before jetting off to Dubai for a warm weather training camp.
United have 10 games remaining - beginning with West Ham on Saturday, March 30 - as they look to finish the Premier League campaign in the European qualification spots.
"As always there will be a period of relaxation after a very busy period," said Howe. "We've got to try and get players fit before our next game and then there will be a period of work where we will analyse [the Manchester City] game and pick the pieces up.
"We'll work on, I don't know what that will be but we'll look ahead to our next opponent and get some good work in, some fitness work in and come back stronger for it."
Howe was without seven players for the trip to the Etihad Stadium. Here, we take a look at Newcastle United absentee list in full and when each player is expected to return.
1. Fabian Schar - hamstring
Schar felt tightness in his hamstring against Sheffield United, which forced him to withdraw at half-time. Possible return date: Burnley (A) 04/05.
2. Sven Botman - ACL
The Dutchman has been ruled out for six to nine months after undergoing surgery on his knee. Possible return date: December 2024.
3. Matt Targett - Achilles
Targett is sidelined for the rest of the season with an Achilles issue having only just returned from four months out. Possible return date: 2024-25 season.
4. Jamaal Lascelles - ACL
Lascelles sustained an ACL injury against West Ham and will be sidelined for six to nine months. Possible return date: December 2024.
