Tens of thousands of Newcastle United supporters will descend on London this weekend as they back Eddie Howe’s men in the final step of their quest to deliver the club’s first domestic silverware since 1955.
Not since the days of Jackie Milburn and Bobby Mitchell have the Magpies got their hands on a domestic trophy but that could all come to an end at Wembley on Sunday afternoon when they face Manchester United in the final of the Carabao Cup.
Tickets for the final became hot property ever since they were released just under three weeks ago and United supporters will travel by road, rail and air as they look to witness a historic moment for the men from St James Park. Among them will be a number of well-known celebrity fans that have supported the Magpies throughout their careers on stage, screen and in the world of music.
