Tottenham Hotspur trying to hijack £17m transfer after Newcastle United bid & Man United trial
Newcastle United-linked Lucas Bergvall is deciding between Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona as his next club.
The 17-year-old Swedish sensation has caught the eye whilst playing for Djurgardens. Bergvall has gone to make 41 senior appearances and recently made his international debut after coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 win over Estonia in January.

Hide AdBergvall had a trial at Manchester United a couple of years ago and Swedish outlet Expressen claimed earlier this month that Newcastle had made an offer for the midfielder.
However, the race for Bergvall's signature has reportedly whittle down to two clubs. As per the Evening Standard, the £17million-rated starlet was at Tottenham Hotspur's training ground on Monday and is now in Barcelona as he weighs up a decision.
The La Liga giants had looked set to seal his signature but Tottenham's approach has left Bergvall with a decision ahead of tonight's deadline.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are close to announcing the signing of 18-year-old Alfie Harrison from Manchester City.

Hide AdThe Magpies agreed an undisclosed fee for Harrison last week and he has since been on Tyneside to undergo a medical and complete the remaining formalities.
It's understood Harrison has penned a long-term contract after being provided with a clear path towards the first-team.
It's claimed by HITC that Harrison had attracted interest from West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton & Hove Albion, Celtic, Valencia, Borussia Dortmund and Nice before opting to move to St James' Park.
Asked about Harrison last week, United boss Eddie Howe said: "We welcome him into the football club. I wasn't directly involved in that transfer but certainly, he's a highly talented player and we hope he does really well with us."
