Callum Wilson starts for Newcastle United against Arsenal as Eddie Howe names two changes from the defeat at Manchester City.
The 30-year-old, captain for the evening, is named in the Magpies starting XI for the first time since December after recovering from a long-term calf injury.
Wilson, in for the injured Chris Wood, played the remaining 25 minutes at the Etihad Stadium last weekend along with Kieran Trippier, though the England full-back is only named among the substitutes.
Also returning to the starting line-up is Fabian Schar, who partners Dan Burn at the back. The Switzerland defender was an unused substitute against City having not trained in the build-up to the game.
However, after a full week of training, Schar is recalled in place of captain Jamaal Lascelles.
Ryan Fraser is on the bench after missing the previous five games with a hamstring injury.
The Magpies have lost 18 of their last 19 matches against Arsenal, far from a good omen as Howe’s side hope to end the Premier League season on a high in their final home game of 2021/22.
