Two Newcastle United players make Premier League Team of the Season so far by WhoScored rating

Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, Spurs, Brentford, Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion all have representatives in the best 11 of players based on statistics.

The 2022/23 Premier League season is fast approaching the final round of fixtures with the title, top four and relegation battle all still in the balance.

There have been plenty of stand out individuals across the division this campaign, including at Newcastle United where several players have been showing they are amongst the best in the country in their respective positions. However, going by the rating system of statistics site WhoScored, only two United players make it into the Premier League Team of the Season so far.

Here is how a best XI of Premier League players for the season so far would look based on WhoScored ratings:

1. GK - Bernd Leno (Fulham)

2. RB - Kieran Trippier (Newcastle)
