Newcastle white Christmas odds slashed - could snow affect Newcastle United v Manchester United clash?

The odds on a white Christmas in Newcastle have been slashed from 7/2 into 4/6.

Weather forecasters at online weather service, WXCharts.com, are predicting snowfall near Newcastle on Christmas Day.

Temperatures are set to plummet over the next few days with the Met Office predicting feels like temperatures as low as -4°C.

Could snow affect Newcastle United v Manchester United?

Newcastle United is due to take on Manchester United at St. James’ Park on Monday December 27.

Should snow fall in Newcastle on Christmas Day it is unlikely to affect the Manchester United clash - this could change however.

There is snow forecast for other parts of the United Kingdom on Monday and according the experts at WXCharts.com the Newcastle and large parts of eastern England are set for heavy snow on Wednesday December 29.

It’s also worth noting that even if the Manchester United game is unaffected by the weather there is always the chance the fixture could be called out as a result of Covid-19.
