Hide AdMorpeth were 3-0 down at halftime and after a rip-roaring second half, managed to pull the score level in the 95th minute thanks to goalkeeper Lowson who netted after coming up the pitch for a corner.
It was celebrations all around after the full-time whistle and in the days after, once heart rates had slowed, the club sent a clip of the goal to BBC Sounds' Footballer's Football Podcast to be analysed by Wilson and West Ham United striker Michail Antonio.
Explaining what happened in the match, podcast host Rickie Haywood-Williams said: "So it's the last home game of the season, you want to end the season on a high.
"Morpeth Town are 3-0 down at half time, having a shocker. Imagine you're going to spend the whole summer with no game to erase the memories of the defeat.

"Morpeth Town have a little free kick routine planned out and it works an absolute treat."
After watching the clip and chucking, Wilson admitted that he loved everything about the goal.
He said: "That video makes me happy man, that's what football is. Last minute of the game, equalised.

Antonio also added his congratulations to Lowson for his "qualify finish".
Speaking after the game, the Morpeth man of the moment shared his thoughts on the madness.
Lowson said: "It's been one of those seasons and rounds it off nicely. It was so disappointing at half time, the goals were horrendous. We didn't want to go out and look like we don't care because that wasn't the case.

The end of the season got even better for Morpeth Town this week as the side took to the St James' Park turf in the Northumberland FA Senior Cup against Blyth Spartans.
Morpeth ran out 2-0 winners to defeat the holders and lift the Techflow Marine Senior Cup for the fourth time.
