After Newcastle United confirmed Champions League football for next season on Monday night and since then the players have been spotted out and about celebrating.
Yesterday photos emerged of some of the footballers on Osborne Road in Jesmond having a burger and a few drinks in the sun. Nick Pope and Dan Burn were spotted in Alnwick with their families at the grand opening of Lilidorei- the world’s largest play structure.
However, one Mag took their festivity one step further.

Goalkeeper Mark Gillespie was filmed on stage at- what looks like- Bongo’s Bingo at the Boiler Shop sharing his joy with the whole of the Toon.
The Newcastle-born player was captured revelling in the Geordie glory by giving a full rendition of “Have you ever seen a Mackem in Milan?”
The 31-year-old started his football journey at the Newcastle United academy before moving on at the age of 16. Despite returning to his boyhood club in 2020 it’s been nearly three years since he last played a competitive match.
As his contract is up this year, it’s believed he’ll move on in the summer to get more game time. However, watching his team achieve such a momentous feat still means everything to him.
