Eddie Howe’s side kick-off at the Signal Induna Park at 5:45pm GMT and will be backed by 3,200 fans. The thousands of others without a ticket will descend on the streets of Dortmund and find pubs broadcasting the match live.
Newcastle are in need of a result tonight in order to keep their Champions League knockout stage hopes alive. The two clubs met at St James’ Park a fortnight ago with the Bundesliga side winning 1-0 after Felix Nmecha’s first-half goal.
