WATCH: Newcastle United co-owner Jamie Reuben makes matchday visit to foodbank

Newcastle United co-owner Jamie Reuben this afternoon paid the Newcastle Foodbank stall a visit.

Reuben, whose Reuben Foundation are match-funding any cash raised by the foodbank on a matchday this season, spoke with volunteers at the stall, including the likes of Bill Corcoran and Steve Hastie.

Speaking to NewcastleWorld, Reuben said: “To see all of these volunteers here, giving up their day is incredible. I want to say thank you to all of the incredible Newcastle United fans for supporting the foodbank.”

Reuben’s RB Media & Sports bought a 10% share in the football club last month, along with PCP Capital Partners and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.

Reuben is attending St James’ Park this afternoon for United’s clash with Brentford, in which new head coach Eddie Howe will miss due to testing positive for Covid yesterday.
