The Toon Army have slipped into the Championship a couple of times over the past decade but managed to get themselves back up both times.

These are exciting times to be associated with the North East club following their takeover last year.

Eddie Howe’s side have started the new campaign with a win and a draw against Nottingham Forest and Brighton and Hove Albion respectively.
