Where Newcastle United are predicted to finish after Premier League fixture release

This morning saw the release of the Premier League fixtures - and we now know who Newcastle United and Eddie Howe face on the opening day.

It’s newly-promoted Nottingham Forest first up (August 6) at St James’ Park with the game confirmed at the traditional 3pm, Saturday kick-off slot.

Then the 13th of August sees the Magpies travel to Brighton for their first away day of the 2022/23 campaign.

While we now know what the fixture computer has thrown up, of course, we do not know how the Magpies will get on this campaign?
