Have years of misfortune finally turned themselves around for Newcastle United? They’ll be wanting to keep up the momentum displayed in their fantastic win last weekend in the Premier League as they play hosts to Aston Villa at St. James Park, Newcastle this Saturday October 29 2022.

Eddie Howe’s form with the Magpies in the Premier League so far this season has been stunning, with the team picking up wins against Fulham, Brentford and Everton in their last five games. They topped  their run of form off with a renowned 2-1 victory against Premier League title chasers Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

Such form has seen Newcastle United lift themselves into the top four in the Premier League. Sitting two points behind Spurs who’re in third and a mere two wins away from claiming second in the Premier League table, should results go against both Manchester City and Spurs this weekend.

Aston Villa meanwhile play their first game under the management of Unai Emery.  He takes over the position from Steven Gerrard who was sacked days before Villa’s game against Brentford. Aston Villa had the caretaker manager’s luck as the team beat Brentford 4-0 with Danny Ings scoring a brace to earn the Man of the Match awards afterwards.

Will the buoyancy both teams are feeling from their respective wins last weekend play a part in their clash this weekend? Will Newcastle United continue their resurrection under the gospel of Eddie Howe? Newcastleworld looks at the viewing options for this week’s Premier League encounter between Newcastle and Aston Villa.
