Once Dougal is settled in the home, he can be left for short periods of time. He is housetrained and travels well in the car. Dougal can be uncomfortable around other dogs and would like owners who would be able to take him on quieter walks. Dougal would like access to his own garden where he can potter around in to his heart's content.

Luna is an energetic girl who is looking for a family who can keep her entertained! She’ll enjoy an active lifestyle physically and mentally. Luna would benefit from revisiting her basic training including introducing any time alone slowly and house training. She is still working on her doggy social skills so would be best as the only pooch in the home. Walking areas ideally will be in quieter areas whilst this is worked on. Our Training Team are on hand to chat through this. Luna can live with secondary school aged children.

Minnie and Wilma are both two gorgeous Beagle girls looking for homes separately. Minnie is a two-year-old Beagle cross looking for a new home. She is a very sweet girl but can be a little nervous at first, but soon warms up and adores everybody she meets. She walks well on the lead and enjoys the company of other dogs. Wilma is also a two-year-old Beagle, who is a friendly girl, who enjoys her doggy friends and walks well on the lead.

Bailey is a four month old hound cross. He is a wonderful young pup who hasn't seen much of the world and can be nervous and shy with new people and new situations. Once he knows you, Bailey is a friend for life! He can live with children 8 years and above, and would love access to his own garden where he can run around and play. Bailey would love someone who is around most of the day to help him settle in, and patient and understanding owners who are willing to help him build up his confidence.

Chris is a young, active lad who is looking for a home that will be up for doing lots of fun activities with his family. He can live with children who are aged 11 and over that are comfortable around bouncy dogs. As he is still a young boy, he will need to have someone around for him most of the day to help him find his paws and gradually introduce any time spent alone. Chris could possibly live with another dog pending a successful introduction at the centre. He can be woofy when meeting new dogs and doesn't always have the best manners.

Cinnamon is a 7 year old whippet cross who is a true rescue dog.This gorgeous girl was found in very poor condition but still absolutely adores people and will stop to introduce herself to everyone she meets along the way. Cinnamon loves to get cosy on the sofa and has definitely taken well to home comforts since being in foster. Cinnamon walks lovely on lead, but can be excitable to see other dogs whilst out and will bark when she sees' an unfamiliar dog but walks lovely with dogs she is out with. Cinnamon has doggy pals of different shapes and sizes who she enjoys going out for walks with and enjoys to socialise.

Abrax has had a sheltered start to life so can find the big wide world a bit overwhelming. He’ll benefit from patient owners who will take things at a steady pace with him. He has gained confidence in the short time with us, and this is really helped when he’s in the company of other dogs. We would love for him to have a doggy pal in the home to help him settle into home life. Abrax has other brothers and sisters at the centre who do not have to live with another dog (though it would be nice).

Woody is an active lad looking for owners who can keep up with him. He'll need plenty of mental stimulation as well as physical exercise to keep his body and mind active. Woody is good with other dogs and may share the home with another. There is a sensitive side to this chap so he's not a fan of young kids. He'd be best suited to live with older teens (16yrs+). He can be excitable and needs a helpful reminder to keep four paws on the ground. Woody would like to be his family's main focus and have plenty of time to dedicate to him.

Barry is a gorgeous 3-month-old Anatolian Shepherd. He came to us as a stray, so we have no previous history on him, but in his foster home he is showing that he is a really nice natured, sweet boy. He loves people but can jump up and he will be a very big dog when fully grown, so any children in the home would need to be confident around big and bouncy dogs. Barry enjoys the company of other dogs, although he can be excitable and lacks manners so any other dogs in the home would need to be able to cope with his enthusiastic playstyle. Barry can be left on his own for a couple of hours once he is settled in. As he is a puppy, he is still learning some of his basic skills so a private and enclosed garden would help with this.

Jasper is such a handsome boy and at 5 months old he seems to be all legs. He has a lot of growing to do yet and should be a good medium to large dog once fully grown. Jasper can be worried by new people and takes time to build up a good relationship so will need several visits to meet him before he can go home. He is looking for a quiet home and needs his owners around all the time. As he gets older owners will be able to start building his confidence spending time by himself.

This ordeal has left her very worried by the world so her adopters must be patient and ready to put in a lot of effort with all her basic training. This will include slow confidence building around people and dogs, walking on lead and housetraining. She will need a secure garden for exercise initially while she gets to grips with lead training. She absolutely needs a calm and predictable home so she can learn the ropes. This means she'll need to be the only dog in an adult only home with someone around all the time until she's fully settled in and ready to slowly build up to any alone time.

She is looking for a home as the only pet. Daisy is a really affectionate girl. She is currently off site in a foster home and she loves nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa with her foster carers. Psalm and his siblings (2 female and 4 male) are gorgeous 9 week old lurcher puppies who are now on the search for their forever homes. These puppies are playful bundles of fun, who will need adopters who are at home most of the day to help settle them into their new homes. Adopters should be prepared that like any puppy, Psalm and his siblings will need lots of training, including housetraining, and should be willing to attend our fabulous Dog School classes to give them the best start possible. Psalm and his siblings could share their home with another sociable dog, provided that the existing dog is tolerant of bouncy, energetic puppies. These puppies could also live with children over the age of 5 years who have a sensible approach to dogs. Adopters should also have a secure garden space which is suitably enclosed to aid housetraining and provide room for exercise.

He'll be fine to live with older kids who are confident around bouncy dogs. Although he cannot share with cats or small furry pets, he's great with other dogs so having a good doggy role model would be fine for him.

A home with a garden would be ideal for playtime and enrichment games. Once settled into home life Monty should be ok to spend time on his on a comfy bed with a chew if his pawrents ever need to pop out. Monty can live with secondary school aged kids (12yrs+). He may have a pal when out on his on-lead walks but will need to be the only dog in the home.

Once Phoebe has met you, she is a super affectionate girl and will always seek out her humans for attention and cuddles which helps Monica build relationships with people and gives her the confidence to come over and interact with people. They both enjoy having toys to play with and phoebe will carry one around with her a lot of the time unless her and Monica are receiving tasty treats. Mental enrichment such as Licky mats, snuffle mats etc will be good for both to help build confidence and to give them fun activities at home.
