Every new route from Newcastle airport due to start in 2025

2024 has been a big year for Newcastle International Airport, and 2025 is set to continue that run.

Over the last 12 months the region’s largest airport has won UK and Irish Airport of the Year at the 2024 Travel Industry Awards as well as ‘Star UK Airport’ at the Travel Bulletin Star Awards. The site has also started its plan to relay the entirety of its runway over the winter months to prepare for a busy summer period in 2025.

In addition to this success, the site has announced a series of new flights and destinations to help the airport compete with the likes of Manchester and Edinburgh airports.
