Newcastle and Gateshead open top bus route returns for summer months
The award-winning tour is back on the roads this bank holiday weekend and is set to run until Sunday, September 28. This year, Go North East have reduced ticket prices and improved both the route and the commentary, voiced by local radio stars Steve and Karen from Hits Radio.
The 55-minute trip starts at Central Station and includes St James’ Park, Ouseburn, Newcastle Castle and the Quayside, crossing the iconic Tyne and Swing bridges. Visitors can hop on and off the bus at 19 different stops around Newcastle and Gateshead.
