The former X Factor contestant is returning to Newcastle this week as part of his Marry Me tour to promote his seventh studio album, and this is everything you need to know if you are planning to attend Olly Murs’ show.

The Tyneside show will be his second date of a long UK tour which kicks off in Glasgow on Friday, April 21.

The show will be taking place at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on Saturday, April 22, one day after the opening night of the tour in Scotland.

Who is supporting Olly Murs on his UK tour?

Huge pop group Scouting For Girls will be opening shows for Murs across the UK throughout the tour. The group are well known for their hit singles at the end of the 2000s She’s So Lovely, Elvis Ain’t Dead and Heartbeat.

The group, who have two top ten albums to their name, released their most recent record, Easy Cover, in 2021.

What are the set times for Olly Murs’ concert in Newcastle?

Doors for the show open at 6pm according to the Utilita Arena website although no other set times are currently listed. Murs’ opening show of the tour in Glasgow has the times for the evening listed as music starting in the form of a DJ set at 6:30pm with Scouting For Girls starting at 7:35pm. There is no listed time for the start of Olly Murs’ set.

Where to park for Newcastle’s Utilita Arena?

There are 600 official car parking places to the rear of the arena which can be reached either by Arena Way or Railway Terrace to the east.
