Quayside hotel offering live music gigs in rooms as part of festival collaboration

A Newcastle hotel is planning to welcome artists to rooms as part of a live music project.

Kicking off on Friday, April 4, a suite at the Quayside-based lifestyle hotel overlooking the river and Tyne Bridge at Innside Newcastle, will be transformed into a stage for emerging artists.

Three independent artists from across the UK will join INNSiDE for an intimate set, ahead of Newcastle’s all-new festival Aelius Alternative, which supports emerging artists and cultural venues in the city.

To launch the exciting weekend, Sam Way, Laura Reznek and The Hope The Fear will be performing in the Townhouse Suite on Friday evening, as part of the Room Service series.

The Room Service Sessions are a series of gigs and experiences in an intimate setting across Innside global hotels. Following the success of Innside The Bedroom, the UK’s first gig series which is taking place across Manchester, Newcastle, and Liverpool with Newcastle’s taking part alongside Aelius Alternative Music Festival.

The festival is Newcastle’s grassroots festival, supporting emerging talent, cultural venues, and businesses in the city. For the second year, performances will be taking place across five stages in Newcastle’s city centre including the hotel’s Townhouse Suite.
