Westlife at Newcastle's Utilita Arena: Set times, setlist news as well as support slots and how to get tickets

The superstars are heading to Newcastle this week as part of their Wild Dreams tour, and here’s all you need to know about the sets.

Irish boyband Westlife will play across two nights of their UK tour on Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26 at Newcastle’s Utilita arena.

The opening show of the tour came on Thursday, November 17 and the group have will work their way through Scotland, Leeds and Manchester before the duo of shows on Tyneside.

    Irish singer-songwriter Lyra will be joining the group on the road throughout the UK. The 29 year-old has released two studio albums so far, including a Christmas themed record in 2020.

    What are the set times for Westlife’s concert in Newcastle?

    According to the Utilita Arena website, the venue will open at 6pm. Previous nights of the tour have seen Lyra start at 7:30 with Westlife starting their set at 8:30 so times may be similar to this. Curfew for the show is at 11:00pm.

    Are tickets still available for Westlife in Newcastle?

    Tickets remain available for both nights through Ticketmaster, with the website also offering resale tickets through their own platform. Prices start at £64.50.

    Where to park for Newcastle’s Utilita Arena?

    There are 600 official car parking places to the rear of the arena which can be reached either by Arena Way or Railway Terrace to the east.

    If this car park is full, the arena recommends gig goes use the NCP car park next to the Arena, with its entrance on Redheugh Bridge Road.

    The usual fee for events is £8.

    Other car parks around the arena include Arena Square Car Park on Ord Street and the Times Square Car Park which can be accessed from Railway Street.
