When is This Is Tomorrow Festival 2022? Dates, ticket and lineup news for Newcastle’s biggest festival

Summer may have come to an end, but that doesn’t mean festival season has to be forgotten about until next year as many event creators are already announcing information ahead of 2022.

This Is Tomorrow Festival celebrated its second outing in 2021 after the previously planned second edition of the festival was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The event this year saw the one-off introduction of a fourth day of the festival, marketed as ‘This Is For The NHS’ which allowed healthcare workers to enjoy music from James, The Lightning Seeds and more for free.

When is This Is Tomorrow Festival 2022?

The festival organisers have announced This Is Tomorrow will be happening on the opening weekend of June 2022, meaning it will fall between 3-5 June.

Exhibition Park will also retain the event as music fans flock to the site.

When do This Is Tomorrow 2022 tickets go on sale?

Earlybird tickets for next year’s event went on sale the day after 2021’s edition came to an end and remain available now. This will give visitors access to all three days of the festival for £107.

One day tickets are expected to be put on sale once earlybird tickets have sold out. Who is playing at This Is Tomorrow 2022?

The lineup for 2022’s festival is yet to be announced, but with other festivals starting to announce names, the wait for acts shouldn’t be too long. Before the 2020 event was postponed, the initial lineup announcement was released at the end of November 2019.
