Singing superstar Beyonce will be heading to the North East as part of her Renaissance tour when she headlines the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. The star revealed the tour on Instagram and will be performing at the stadium on May 23.

The Renaissance tour will be Beyonce’s first since 2018 and as well as Sunderland, will include venues in Cardiff, Edinburgh and London. The singer will also be performing across Europe in Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam and more.

Confirmation of the tour came after several subtle hints had been dropped on social media. The tour will be a celebration of her latest album, Renaissance, which was released in July 2022.

Fans of Beyonce can get prepared for tickets now by registering for the Live Nation pre-sale, which will begin Feburary 3 from 10am.
