Pop artists the Black Eyed Peas are gearing up for a new tour, and Newcastle is on their list of gig destinations.

The four-piece, which features will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and J. Rey Soul, are set to head around Europe for their latest tour

The musical group behind chart hits like I Gotta Feeling are set to headline Italy, Ireland, France and a very special concert date is set right in Newcastle.

LooseFest is set to feature the Black Eyed Peas as its Saturday night headliner, with the two-day festival planned for the end of July.

From July 30 to July 31, attendees of the LooseFest event can see a variety of bands, but will only have the Saturday to see the acclaimed group.

The outdoor space for LooseFest is usually reserved for This is Tomorrow, but the festival is not taking place this year, with the space now reserved for LooseFest and the Black Eyed Peas.
