Blur have announced four warm-up shows including a stop at Newcastle O2 City Hall ahead of their Wembley Stadium dates

Blur have announced that they will perform at Newcastle’s O2 City Hall in May ahead of their Wembley Stadium dates. The rock band from London will perform two nights at Wembley Stadium with one night already sold out.

Most known for their hit singles ‘Song 2’ and ‘Parklife’ the four-piece band, who formed in 1988 will perform four warm-up shows at the Colchester Arts Centre, Eastbourne Winter Gardens, Wolverhampton’s The Halls and Newcastle’s O2 City Hall.

Blur will visit the Newcastle O2 City Hall on Sunday, May 28 but it has not been announced if they will be joined by the special guests set to appear at the Wembley Stadium shows. Joining the band for their shows in London will be Paul Weller, The Selecter and Snooker Champion/DJ Steve Davi.

General sale tickets to Blur’s warm-up show at Newcastle’s O2 City Hall will be available to purchase on Friday, April 28 at 10am. To purchase tickets visit the O2 City Hall website.
