In Newcastle we can proudly say we have the National Centre for Children’s Stories right on our doorstep.
A place filled with plenty of things to do, the centre celebrates some of the most cherished stories ever written.
With a dedication to children’s stories, the centre makes for an ideal place to visit this World Book Day.
There is a specialist children’s bookshop located in the centre which has books for toddlers all the way through to young adults.

It is free to enter the centre which is open seven days a week except during term time when it closes every Wednesday.
