Jet2 announce extra flights to Majorca from Newcastle International Airport in April following popular demand

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have expanded their programmes to Tenerife and Majorca for Summer 23, by introducing additional flights and holidays to the sunshine favourites from seven of their UK bases.

Jet2 are the UK’s leading tour operator and leisure airline to the Canaries and Balearics, and have added extra service to the popular destinations between March and May, with additional flying to Majorca in April available from Newcastle International Airport.

A spokesperson for Jet2 said;  “This comes in response to strong demand from customers looking to enjoy flights and ATOL protected package holidays to the two hotspots in the early summer season and over the Easter holidays.”

It comes at a time when the travel industry is starting to finally get back on its feet after a tough few years as a result of the Coronavirus. Earlier in the month, it was announced that London Heathrow had its busiest January since the pandemic January.
