Little Mix tour 2022: Utilita Arena Confetti concerts will be ‘last’ in Newcastle - tickets still available

Little Mix kick-off tour in Belfast with singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock allegedly removing reference to girl group’s erstwhile bandmate, Jesy Nelson.

The up-and-coming Little Mix Confetti tour concerts in the Utilita Arena will be the group’s last ever in Newcastle.

There are still tickets available for Little Mix at the Utilita Arena on Friday April 15 and for their matinee show on Saturday April 16,

The concert scheduled for the evening of Saturday April 16 is sold out.

    The band kicked off their farewell tour in Belfast on Saturday.

    Once a foursome, the band was reduced to three when Jesy Nelson left in 2020.

    Why did Jesy Nelson leave Little Mix?

    Jesy Nelson jAoined Little Mix in 2011 but in 2020 she made a shock announcement that she was leaing band.

    At the time of her departure, 30 year-old Nelson, said she was leaving Little Mix because of concerns for her mental health.

    “I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard,” said Nelson.

    Nelson would go on to launch her solo career in 2021.

    Is this the last chance to see Little Mix perform live?

    Some fans are convinced the Confetti tour will be the girl band’s last ever.

    It comes after the band asked fans at the concert in Belfast at the weekend, “if there was one song you could hear on our last ever tour - what would it be?”.

    Little Mix devotees took to social media to express their concerns.

    “I am devastated - Leigh-Anne [Pinnock] has just hinted this is the last ever Little Mix tour - I can’t stop crying,” wrote one fan.

    “I can’t believe this is happening - the thought of never seeing them live again is so depressing,” added another.

    Who are Little Mix?

    Little Mix is a British girl group, consisting of group members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock; former member Jesy Nelson departed from the group in 2020.

    Jade Thirlwall, (29) and Perrie Edwards (28) are both from the South Shields area while Leigh-Anne Pinnock (30) is from Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.
