Adam Collard: who is Love Island contestant from Newcastle who appeared in Season 4 with Zara McDermott?

After the fall-out from Casa Amor is still present in the island, fans were given one of the biggest shocks in recent years as a former contestant is set to make a triumphant return, four years after he first appeared on the show.

His name is Adam Collard, who caused immense drama on the show and rarely showed loyalty to one girl.

In a time where there’s only one or two really solid couples in Love Island, Collard could play a massive role and permanently change the dynamic in the villa.

With his return set to be televised tonight, here’s who he is, his age now and his previous Love Island history.

Who is Adam Collard?

Adam Collard is a new Love Island contestant, set to be introduced as a new bombshell on a show that will air at 9pm on Monday, 11 July 2022.

This isn’t his first stint on Love Island, as he was a contestant on season four in 2018, where he caused drama and controversy.

Like the 2022 version, he was also introduced as a bombshell, much earlier on where he coupled up with Kendall Rae Knight, who is now in a long-term relationship with Andrew Hughes, a footballer for Preston North End.

His romance with Kendall was short lived, and he moved on with another bombshell, Rosie Williams, whose Love Island experience lasted just over two weeks.

After Rosie, he then moved on to Zara McDermott, who was also booted out after 20 days. Out of the four people he found a romantic connection with during his stint in 2018, McDermott proved to be the strongest, and they continued a relationship outside the villa which eventually came to an end.

McDermott is also in a long-term relationship now, with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson.

Despite McDemott leaving the show, Adam didn’t stop there and shared a kiss with Casa Amor’s Darylle Sargeant, who spent just four days in the villa.

Then, two days after Sargeant’s departure, Collard left the show on day 32, having spent 31 days in the villa.

How old is Adam Collard?

Despite looking much older, and giving off the impression that he is older with his demeanour, the former personal-trainer is only 26-years-old.

Who will he be interested in?

Judging by his love interest’s four years ago, Collard is into brunettes, which only rules out Tasha Ghouri, who is torn between Billy Brown and Andrew le Page, who shocked and hurt her with his Casa Amor antics.

But a sneak preview from the show that is set to be aired tonight has shown the (not so) newboy getting to know Danica, Paige and Ekin-Su.

Danica, after coupling up with Josh in Casa Amor was informed by the model that he doesn’t see a romantic spark, signalling the end of their romance.

Paige is also in limbo as Jacques O’Neill ‘tested’ their relationship recently, with his antics somewhat exposed by Cheyenne Kerr after he opted to stick with Paige.
