Magic Weekend at St James Park: What is the event and who is playing over the two days in Newcastle?

The weekend is a big fixture in the rugby league calendar and it is returning to Newcastle this weekend.

Rugby league’s Magic Weekend is set to return to Newcastle in 2025, and with the fixtures now announced for the annual event, fans are planning on flocking to Tyneside.

The league schedule moved the weekend from a September date to one earlier in the year back in 2022, and it now takes over the city on the first May Bank Holiday weekend.
